Dr. Allen announced that the Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation's graduation rate for the 2024–25 school year was 98.28% at the Jan. 13 board meeting.
District staff — Mr. Upton, Mrs. Lepore and Mr. Elliott — spoke about schoolwide efforts and contributions across grade levels that supported the high graduation rate. Mr. Upton noted that the Class of 2025 included 349 students, of whom 345 graduated.
Board President Matt Saner publicly thanked local donors: the Lampis family for a $150 donation toward negative lunch accounts, Martin Marietta for a $500 donation to Waverly student activities, and Jacob Maloy of Hoosier Frontier Electric for $150 to the Waverly Robotics Team. Dr. Biggerstaff and board members also recognized facilities project manager Jeff Williams for his work on campus improvements and the Waverly building addition.
The meeting proceeded to routine administrative and finance items after these recognitions.
