Mt. Vernon, Ind. — On Feb. 2, 2026, the Board of School Trustees of the Metropolitan School District (MSD) of Mt. Vernon met at Mt. Vernon Senior High School and approved a package of routine and preparatory actions including curriculum changes, financial authorizations and a property-related resolution. The board members present were Kendra Bisesi, Brittney Butler, Mark Isaac, Greg Oeth and Brian Williams; administrators included Chief Financial Officer Bo Harris and Superintendent Stephanie Stewart. Courtney York attended representing the NEA.
