RAEFORD — The Raeford City Council unanimously voted Nov. 15 to rescind the resignation of City Manager Dennis Baxley, which had been dated effective Dec. 30, 2022. The action took place at a called meeting in the James B. McLeod Council Chambers.
Councilman Wayne Willis moved to rescind the resignation, and Councilman John Jordan seconded the motion. The motion was “unanimously carried,” returning Mr. Baxley to his role as City Manager.
