Edmonds School District honors winter athletes and district classified staff

"We have 2 really special celebrations tonight," Dr. Minor said, introducing athletes who reached district and state tournaments.
The board also recognized the district's 2026 All-Edmonds Educational Support Team. Mark Roshi, director of human resources for classified staff, said the honorees "literally create the environment for learning," singling out custodians, paraeducators, bus drivers, food-service workers and technicians for peer-nominated service and reliability. The presentation named more than a dozen employees by school and role and concluded with a group photo with board members.
Board members praised the honorees and noted the value of these staff and student accomplishments to school climate and community morale. The meeting then moved on to public comment and regular business.
The honors segment did not include formal board action; it was presented as recognition and celebration of student and staff achievement.
