On Nov. 21 the Nooksack Valley School Board approved a slate of policy revisions and adoptions during its regular meeting.
The board approved on second reading revisions to Policy 3241 (Student Discipline) and Policy 2125 (Sexual Health Education). Trustees also approved a revision to Policy 4130 (Title I Parent and Family Engagement) and revisions or adoptions to Policies 6700 (Nutrition), 6701 (Recess and Physical Activity) and 6702 (Wellness). The board also adopted the district’s Policy Manual Review and Revision procedures. Each motion was seconded and carried by recorded motion (M.C.) 5-0, according to the minutes.
Shelley Harder moved and Ty Elmendorf seconded the motion to approve the revisions to Policy 2125; Halli Kimball moved and Ty Elmendorf seconded approval of revisions to Policy 3241.
