County engineer reports on property tax bills and submits TAP grant for New Hartford pedestrian path

Butler County Engineer Riherd updated the Board of Supervisors on March 17 that three separate property tax reform bills are circulating in the legislature but that none has moved decisively toward passage.
Riherd also reported he submitted a Transportation Alternatives (TAP) grant through INRCOG for a pedestrian path outside New Hartford and said he will present about the project at an upcoming Thursday meeting.
The board did not take action on either the legislative items or the grant at the March 17 meeting; Riherd will bring any further developments or required approvals back to the board as the grant process proceeds.
