At its Feb. 6 meeting the Milan City Council approved a State Earmark grant agreement between the City of Milan and the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, and approved bills payable and payroll totaling $523,738.52.
The state earmark agreement was approved on a motion by Councilmember Kofflin, seconded by Councilmember Snyder, and carried unanimously. Councilmember Snyder moved, and Councilmember Stafford seconded, approval of bills payable and payroll in the amount of $523,738.52; that motion also carried unanimously.
The minutes record a brief discussion about extending the Stevens Waste Disposal contract but note that no action was taken on that item. Clerk Lavonna Wenzel also announced that early voting would begin Feb. 17 at city hall.
The meeting adjourned at 8:31 p.m.
