Land Records Committee approves conveyance of two excess right-of-way parcels, sets fee for Minocqua

The Oneida County Land Records Committee on Feb. 10 approved conveyance of two excess county right-of-way parcels and forwarded resolutions to the County Board as part of the consent agenda.
Committee member Greg Oettinger moved, and Kyle Timmons seconded, approval to convey parcel SC-505-3 (part of NWSW, Section 23, T35N-R11E) to the adjoining landowner Moore; the motion passed with all members voting aye. The committee characterized the Moore request as a standard excess-rights-of-way conveyance.
On a separate item, the Town of Minocqua requested acquisition of the remainder of an excess right-of-way strip along Narrows Road known as parcel MI-2330-5 (part of SENE, Section 23, T39N-R6E). Land Information staff member Sara Chiamulera said the conveyance deed will contain easements to preserve access for landowners to the west and south. The Town had paid $100 toward the parcel; the committee approved a motion by Kyle Timmons, seconded by Chris Schultz, to convey MI-2330-5 to the Town of Minocqua for the standard $250 administrative fee plus a $30 recording fee. That motion also passed unanimously and will be forwarded to the County Board as a consent agenda resolution.
Committee members did not propose amendments to the conveyances at the meeting. Both items were approved as routine administrative actions and will proceed through the County Board consent process.
