Emerson described the street location and said the county would follow statutory notice requirements for vacating a platted street. The board did not take any final action on the street vacation itself at the March 17 meeting; the April 17 hearing will provide an opportunity for public comment and further consideration.
Members of the public who wish to comment or submit materials ahead of the hearing were advised to coordinate with the County Clerks office, which will publish the official notice and hearing details.
