The Pennsauken Township Board of Education approved a number of contracts and procurement actions on Nov. 18, including a revised tuition contract with Camden County Technical Schools and several multi-vendor technology and vehicle purchases.
The revised tuition contract with Camden County Technical Schools was presented for the 2024–25 school year at a cost per student of $3,211.00 for an estimated 146 students, plus an adjustment of $130,540.00 for 2022–23 tuition, for a total listed cost of $599,346.00 in the packet.
The packet also recommends a Canon managed print services agreement through OMNIA Partners for new Canon ImageClass printers at an annual total of $42,060.00. For student-transportation technology, the board recommended purchase of bus camera systems from Transportant under a cooperative contract with a four-year warranty and implementation costs not to exceed $198,323.00. Separately, the minutes recorded an intent to award a refrigerated Food Service vehicle IFB to Winner Ford for $113,067.00.
Board business notes also reflected a procurement decision to retain First Student for a special-needs transportation route after soliciting at least three vendors; cost details and other quotes were included in the packet. All procurement, contract and award items on the agenda were approved as presented during the meeting.
