Pennsauken board awards $11.655 million PHS addition, hires construction manager

Board materials presented at the meeting said the recommendation followed review of bids and a recommendation by LAN Associates. The district noted the award is contingent upon sufficient funds and compliance with the Public Schools Contract Law, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. The board recorded that the project is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2026.
The board voted to approve the awards as part of its Business & Finance agenda; the motion carried. The construction manager selection and the lowest responsible bid were both described in the public packet provided to the board before the vote.
The award packet listed competing bidders for the PHS addition and the amounts received; Nacom’s total base bid was $11,655,000. The construction management RFP listed several proposers; Pinnacle Consulting & Construction Services was recommended as the most advantageous based on price and other factors.
