Waupaca County board accepts $2,500 in donations for sheriff’s dive team and K9

The fiscal note states the $2,500 will be placed in a donation-restricted account.
The donation resolution was recommended for introduction by the county Finance and Law Enforcement Committee. No conditions or amendments to the donations were recorded in the meeting minutes. The board’s vote was recorded as 24-0 in favor of acceptance.
The acceptance establishes no recurring county funding obligation; the donations are restricted to the specified sheriff programs and managed through the county’s donation account procedures.
