Fulton County commissioners approve payroll, $334,397.62 in payables and authorize MATP allocations

Fulton County commissioners on Feb. 3 approved routine minutes and a series of financial measures, including payroll of $129,990.81 and accounts payable totaling $334,397.62.
The board unanimously approved the January 27, 2026 commissioners' minutes and January 27 Salary Board minutes on a motion by Commissioner Steven L. Wible. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve payroll dated Feb. 6, 2026 in the amount of $129,990.81. Hann also moved to approve accounts payable dated Feb. 3, 2026 totaling $334,397.62; the accounts-payable report listed fund allocations including $96,661.78 for the General Fund, $165,835.26 for HSDF/HSBG and $44,792.44 for 911.
In other financial business the board approved two MATP allocation letters (motions by Commissioner Hann) and authorized Commissioner Steven L. Wible to execute them. The amounts recorded in the meeting were $464,875.00 for FY 2024–2025 and $491,875.00 for FY 2025–2026, a combined total of $956,750.00. The record shows both motions passed "all in favor."
The board also approved the January 2026 Retirement Fund Report as presented by HR Administrator Mary Huston and granted travel requests for Services for Children Director Christine McQuade and Services for Children Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott to attend the PA Children and Youth Administrators Conference March 11–13, 2026, in State College, PA.
Procedural motions to enter and exit an executive session for legal matters were recorded; a tax appeal hearing followed the session at 9:20 a.m. (Commissioner Wible abstained from that hearing, citing a conflict of interest; separate minutes are on file). The meeting record shows no formal vote tallies beyond the repeated phrase "all in favor." Commissioners listed as present at the start of the meeting were Randy H. Bunch (chair), Steven L. Wible (vice-chair) and Hervey P. Hann (commissioner).
