Fulton County commissioners approve $234,913.72 in payables, accept multiple finance items

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved $234,913.72 in accounts payable and signed off on several financial and administrative items at its Jan. 27, 2026 meeting in McConnelsburg.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve the accounts payable list dated Jan. 27, 2026; the motion passed with Commissioners Randy H. Bunch, Steven L. Wible and Hervey P. Hann voting in favor. The board recorded an itemized distribution that included $145,851.38 to the General Fund; other funds receiving payments included 911 ($30,555.07), Medical Assistance Transportation ($27,752.25), Act 13 Marcellus Shale Recreational ($1,326.13), Law Library ($403.79), Capital Projects ($3,966.45) and Debt Service ($14,148.95), for a combined total of $234,913.72.
The board also approved several invoices and reports: an invoice from an insurance agent for a Fulton County Tax Collectors Blanket Bond through Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of America for $3,313.00; an Elect IT Solutions invoice for IT staffing and support for February 2026; and a post‑election report for the Election Integrity Grant Program listing total municipal-2025 expenditures of $84,443.55, which Commissioner Hann moved to accept. Commissioner Hann also moved to retroactively authorize Commissioner Bunch to execute the ERAP 2 County Expenditure Certification Form for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program; that motion carried.
Separately, the board approved renewing Companion Life Insurance for group term life and AD&D at the same rates as 2025, effective April 1, 2026. All financial motions were approved unanimously by the three commissioners present.
