Lake Stevens School District honors October Students of the Month and APPLE Award winners

Principals from multiple schools introduced the Lake Stevens School District Students of the Month for October during the Nov. 13 board meeting.
Lake Stevens Middle School Principal Lisa Sanchez and Associate Principal Jamie Sinning presented students Isabelle Chapman, Inba Mahendran, Cameron Degrant and Anna Stein. North Lake Middle School Principal Brad Ables and Associate Principal Kelly Goodsmansen introduced Blayden Dodrill, Francisco Ipina, Kaylyn Avent and Adyson Davis. Cavelero Mid High Principal Dr. Sellers and Associate Principal Janel Parken presented Jett Benson, Olivia Sanchez, Oscar Bates and Bailey Wolfe. Lake Stevens High School Principal Leslie Ivelia and Associate Principal Alex Johns introduced Alex Ayala Barragan, Sarah Poinaru, Ana Joehnk, Jack McClure, Kamryn Hoff and Samantha Schurig.
Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources John Balmer introduced APPLE Award recipients Bobbie Smoots, Cheryl Ryba, Jenny Trivett, Lola LeDoux and Martin Fredrickson.
President Mari Taylor closed the recognition portion by sharing a reflection from Student of the Month Isabelle Chapman, who described Lake Stevens Middle School as "a school full of laughter."
