During the Nov. 9, 2021 session the Waupaca County Board of Supervisors heard reports and completed a series of appointments. Corporation Counsel Diane Meulemans provided an update on opioid settlement agreements. Ron Hansen, Maintenance Director, reviewed his department’s staff, responsibilities and ongoing projects. Chair Dick Koeppen asked veterans present to introduce themselves in recognition of Veterans Day and announced that Mark O’Connell of the Wisconsin Counties Association will lead a training session for supervisors and department heads in December.
The board confirmed multiple appointments: Bill Flemal, Dave Morack and Lori Schneider were appointed as citizen members to the Transportation Coordination Committee (three-year terms); John Charleston was appointed a citizen member to the Committee on Aging (three-year term); and David Morack was appointed to the Veterans Service Commission (three-year term). Each appointment was moved and seconded according to the minutes and passed unanimously (motions carried 23-0).
Chair Koeppen declared the meeting adjourned at 10:20 a.m.; county clerk Jill Lodewegen signed the proceedings.
