The Land Information Council held a brief meeting to select its chair and vice chair; the transcript notes remaining committees will meet within 30 days to choose chairs and vice chairs.
The board confirmed several appointments: Jeff Dyer, Maryann Snider, Nancy Koeppen and Ken Van Dyke were appointed as citizen members of the Solid Waste Board (motion carried 26-0 with 1 abstention); Dr. Steve Goedderz was appointed to a three-year term as a citizen member of the Department of Health & Human Services Board (motion carried 27-0); Craig Nelson was appointed as the FSA representative to the Land and Water Conservation Committee (motion carried 27-0); and Jessica Friday was appointed to a three-year term on the Veterans Service Commission (motion carried 27-0). County staff were directed to notify appointees and update official rosters.
The board instructed committees not yet organized to select their chairs and vice chairs within approximately 30 days.
