Commissioners approve Krivak Trust aid up to $35,000, hire Prothonotary staff and authorize several administrative items

Fulton County commissioners approved several administrative and personnel actions at their March 3 meeting.

Motion by Commissioner Hervey P. Hann authorized a Krivak Trust application for up to $35,000 to assist an applicant; the minutes note the applicant information is confidential under HIPAA. The motion passed with all commissioners voting in favor.

Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to hire Laurel Griest as Office Deputy I for the Prothonotary’s Office, effective March 4, 2026; the motion carried unanimously. A brief Salary Board convened to set the new hire's salary.

The board also authorized a CDBG "Delegation of Signing Authority" form allowing HR Administrator Mary Huston, Commissioner Steven L. Wible and Commissioner Randy H. Bunch to execute invoices submitted by SEDA COG. Commissioners approved a lease with DBB for a printer for Magisterial District Judge Heming’s office for $3,647.00 and a Plan Asset invoice from Conrad Siegel for $3,844.25 to be paid from plan assets; both motions were recorded as approved "all in favor."

Commissioners additionally approved a burial expense application for veteran Gary Allen Myers, who served in the Air Force during Desert Shield/Desert Storm, and received an audit review from county auditors. The board met with Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville for an update on Phase II renovations at the county's newly purchased Lincoln Way West property. Several executive sessions for personnel matters were held during the day as recorded in the minutes.

All recorded motions at the meeting were approved by unanimous consent among the three commissioners present.
