Fulton County adopts 2026 budget with no tax increase

CFO Mike Lamb and Fiscal Administrator Sue Reed presented the proposed budget to the board. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve Resolution 8 of 2025; Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to adopt the proposed 2026 budget as presented. Both motions carried with all commissioners voting in favor.
The board also approved the December 2025 Pension Report as presented by HR Administrator Mary Huston. The actions finalize county spending plans for the coming fiscal year and keep the county's tax rate unchanged for 2026.
The board did not identify any changes to the publicly advertised budget during the meeting. The county will proceed under the adopted budget for fiscal year 2026.
