The board recorded unanimous approval to proceed with forwarding the vehicle purchase quotes.
Separately, the commissioners also forwarded an additional appropriation request of $73,878.07 to cover vehicle upfits at the department’s request; that appropriation will go to the county council for final action. The auditor and sheriff’s office will coordinate purchasing and upfit schedules upon council approval.
