Commissioners Annissa Kellum and Brad Wiseman moved and seconded approval of flagged claims and conditional payments for vendors that included 4:34 Ministries ($7,000), Blue River Services ($310,010 and $100,000), Boys & Girls Club ($150,000), Comfort House ($31,500), Harrison County 4-H Council (multiple payments totalling the amounts on record), Harrison County Agricultural Society (two payments listed), Harrison County Alternative School ($312,948), Harrison County Community Services ($247,500), Harrison County Economic Development Corporation ($200,000), Harrison County Lifelong Learning ($225,000), Harrison County Solid Waste ($100,000), Leadership Harrison County ($9,000) and The Next Step ($40,950). Each motion carried with a recorded vote of 3 ayes and 0 nays.
County Administrator Chad Shireman presented the same organizations as annual agreements and moved to approve the agreements as presented; the motion carried unanimously. The auditor will hold the executed agreements on file before payments proceed.
The approvals are conditional: payments to the named vendors will be made only after written agreements are fully executed and on file with the auditor, per the motions recorded in the minutes.
