Board approves retirements and hires; holds executive session on superintendent posting with no action

The board also approved employment recommendations for Madison Day as extracurricular yearbook advisor and Kyla Hoover as a restricted substitute teacher. The superintendent presented the hires, a motion was made and seconded, and the board approved the appointments by voice vote.
Earlier in the meeting the superintendent recommended moving into executive session to discuss the superintendent job posting. The board entered executive session on appointment and employment matters and later reconvened at 6:07 p.m. with "no action" taken, according to the chair.
