District Attorney, Extension and Highway officials give routine updates; two appointments confirmed

During the April 20 meeting District Attorney Veronica Isherwood provided an update on operations of the District Attorney’s Office. Jessica Beckendorf, Community Development Educator, reviewed the Extension Impact newsletter "Education Makes a Difference." Highway Commissioner Casey Beyersdorf reviewed components of the 2020 Highway Department financial review.
The board then approved appointments: Judi Olson was re-appointed as a citizen member to the Health and Human Services Board for a three-year term, and James Goeser was re-appointed to the Veterans Service Commission for a term ending in November 2023. Both appointments were approved without a negative vote.
The meeting record notes attendance changes during these reports: Supervisor Zaug left the meeting during the Extension report and Supervisor Bosquez later left. Chair Koeppen read correspondence and the meeting adjourned at 11:01 a.m.
