Road foreman reports equipment in service, shed repairs and posts position with March 13 deadline

Road Foreman Cody Kutschkau updated the Nance County Board of Supervisors on March 10 that the county’s motor graders and a Bonnell drag were in service and that work on the weed-shed doors is complete.
Kutschkau said the crew discussed covering new headers on the shed doors; Chairman Timothy C. Cornwell said he would contact Sack Lumber about wrapping the headers. Kutschkau also reported that the road building remodel requires repainting the office (it had been painted the wrong color) and that a high spot in recently poured cement is holding water and needs correction.
Kutschkau notified the board that applications for a Road Department job are due Friday, March 13, 2026, with interviews to be scheduled the following week. The board took no formal action beyond receiving the report and recording the personnel posting in the minutes.
