During the opening business of the House Insurance Committee, Chair Lambton called House Bill 220 for its fifth hearing. Vice Chair Craig moved amendment “17 87‑2,” which he explained specifies that the bill’s provisions apply to health benefit plans delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed on or after Jan. 1, 2028.
The amendment was distributed to committee members and, hearing no objection, the chair declared the amendment approved and incorporated into the bill. The committee then closed the fifth hearing on HB 220.
