Warren County commissioners approve routine business, appointments and finance items

The Warren County Board of Commissioners on March 2 handled a range of routine administrative actions, approving the agenda, prior meeting minutes, claims dockets and payroll, and accepting the county’s 2025 Annual Financial Report.
Motions carried unanimously to approve the Feb. 17 meeting minutes, accounts payable claim dockets covering Feb. 17–Mar. 2, and the Feb. 13 payroll. Auditor Robin Weston‑Hubner presented the 2025 Annual Financial Report, which the board accepted.
Commissioners also approved the county’s 2026 polling places and appointed Michelle Stuckey to a KIRPC board seat after the West Lebanon council deferred its appointment. The board completed Smith Scholarship nominations and appointments as presented; Commissioner John Comer moved the slate of nominees and the motion passed unanimously.
Other administrative updates included a facilities update on the commissioners’ room remodel (electrical work pending), Highway Department notices about GovDeals listings for three trucks, and department briefings from LEDO, Purdue Extension, HR and the Auditor’s office. No public comment was recorded. The board adjourned and set its next meeting for March 16, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.
