Milan council hears parks, beautification and youth-council updates; mayor announces administrator interviews

Councilmember Brian Baldwin said the Milan Youth Council will host a Self-Care Saturday Zoom event on Feb. 26 that is open to all and said the youth council is planning a trip to Lansing. Several council members — including Councilmember Thompson and Mayor Edward Kolar — welcomed IT Director John Koehler back from time away. Mayor Kolar also said the council will conduct additional City Administrator interviews and noted a promising prospective candidate.
There were no public comments recorded during the meeting. The council set its next regular meeting for Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, with an agenda submission deadline of Feb. 23.
