Allendale Township approves new water and wastewater rate schedules, authorizes streetlight contract

The Allendale Charter Township Board of Trustees on March 9 approved multiple financial and operational items, including new rate schedules for the township’s wastewater and water systems and authorization for a streetlight contract in the Hidden Shores West Phase 5 development.
The board unanimously passed BOT 26-039, a motion by Trustee Vander Wall supported by Trustee MacDonald, to authorize Resolution 2026-03 establishing the wastewater system rate schedule. Later, the board approved BOT 26-040, moved by Trustee Zeinstra with support from Trustee Vander Wall, authorizing Resolution 2026-04 to set the township’s water system rates.
