The Wynne School District Board approved numerous administrative contract renewals and employment recommendations for the 2026–27 school year, including assistant superintendent, principals, directors and other administrative positions. The slate of hires and renewals is listed in the meeting record; the board approved the recommendations with one exception: the additional duty assignment for Caleb Loe (Assistant Football TO Offensive Coordinator) was not approved as part of that motion (the motion to accept the slate was made by Teresa Dallas, seconded by Spencer Parker, and passed with the exception noted).
The personnel motion included a long list of certified and classified recommendations for positions such as assistant superintendent (Stephanie Lyons), maintenance & transportation director (Marc Griffin), special services director (Schunda Murphy), and numerous principals and teachers. Appointments for kindergarten screening staff and several classified hires were also recommended. The minutes record effective dates for some hires (for example, certified and classified tutors effective Feb. 9, 2026, and a classified hire effective Feb. 16, 2026).
Separately, the board reviewed and unanimously approved the 2025 Legislative Audit (motion by Michael Hirons; seconded by Spencer Parker). The minutes do not record any dissent or amendments to the audit approval. The board set the next regular meeting for March 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. and adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
