Fulton County commissioners approve $58,343 in bills, authorize election equipment purchase and children’s services contract; continue Teamsters talks

Fulton County commissioners met March 10, 2026, and approved routine minutes and payments while advancing procurement and contracting for county services.
Commissioner Randy H. Bunch, chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. and announced an Emergency Executive Session held March 4 for personnel matters. The board — Commissioner Steven L. Wible, vice-chairman, and Commissioner Hervey P. Hann — recorded several procedural approvals early in the meeting, including the March 3, 2026 commissioners’ minutes and the March 3 Salary Board minutes; both motions carried unanimously.
The commissioners approved account payables dated March 10, 2026 totaling $58,343.27. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved the payment motion, which covered multiple funds including $48,919.07 from the General Fund and $6,735.88 from Liquid Fuels; the motion passed with all commissioners in favor.
On procurement, Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve quotes from Amazon and Inclusion Solutions for election equipment purchases totaling $4,827.00. The board recorded that the purchase will be reimbursed through election grants and approved the action unanimously.
The board also approved a Purchase of Service Agreement between Fulton County and Outside In for the Children Department, effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to execute the agreement; the motion carried with all in favor.
Commissioners reported multiple executive sessions during the morning for legal and personnel matters, and they met with community and labor representatives later in the day. The board met with Fred Black to discuss maintenance issues at the Hustontown Senior Center; Commissioner Bunch said he and Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville would inspect the building to determine next steps.
Labor negotiations with Teamsters Local Union No. 776 continued during the meeting. The county met with Teamsters representative Ronald Kriel, mediator Tom Wrobleski, and union stewards Jody Keefer and Jennifer Burdge; the board recessed for negotiations and entered an executive session for those talks. Commissioners said they plan to meet again with Teamsters Local 776 on March 24 at 12:30 p.m.
The board held a work session from 1:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. that included HR Administrator Mary Huston. Commissioner Hann moved to adjourn at 4:00 p.m.; the motion was approved and the meeting ended.
