Vice Chair Davila moved to amend House Bill 476 "with substitute bill 2,330 six-one," and told the committee that "the substitute bill makes changes based off continued conversations between the sponsors, offices, and others. And the comp doc is on everyone's iPads." The chair asked if there were any objections; hearing none, the substitute was accepted and made part of the record.
The committee chair said the panel "are looking at potentially a vote on this bill next Tuesday for finance committee" and urged members to submit questions, concerns or proposed amendments over the next four to five days. The chair also said an amendment from Representative Glassburn is intended to be included in the final product.
Earlier in the session the committee approved the minutes of the previous meeting without objection and the clerk's roll call established that a quorum was present. The chair noted there is written testimony on members' iPads that has been submitted for the record.
