Homeowner and property owner Dave Parkhouse asked the Board to allow a previously combined parcel at the dyke on the reservoir to be separated back into two original lots. Commissioners voted to allow the separation of parcel number 005405001030 into its original lots (lots 2 and 3 in Caribou Blue Landing Subdivision), which would allow sale and development subject to standard utility and septic requirements.
Aaron Cook (Assessor) advised the Board on that parcel’s history and size; Commissioners discussed zoning constraints and noted prospective buyers would need to address septic, water and power access prior to building.
Commissioner Bryce Somsen moved to allow the separation and Commissioner Mark Mathews seconded; the motion passed. The approval restores the property to its former lot configuration but does not waive applicable subdivision, septic or permitting requirements.
