Senator Wilson urges aligning Ohio Deaf History Month dates with national observance

Committee members did not pose questions to the sponsor during the hearing. The chair also noted written proponent testimony submitted on behalf of Saint Rita School for the Deaf and the Ohio Speech and Hearing Government Affairs Association.
The committee concluded the first hearing on Senate Bill 254 with no formal action taken; the bill will proceed through the usual committee process before any further steps are scheduled.
