Fulton County commissioners approve minutes, payables, software renewal and board appointments

Fulton County commissioners completed routine business during their Dec. 16 meeting, approving minutes, payables and several administrative items.
The board approved the Dec. 9, 2025 Commissioners' Meeting minutes and the Dec. 9 Retirement Board minutes. Commissioners approved payables dated Dec. 16, 2025, totaling $281,921.91 across funds: $214,588.09 (General Fund), $330.26 (SFC Technology Grant), $142.50 (SFC Evidence Based Practice), $20,705.31 (911), $50.54 (Domestic Relations) and $46,105.21 (Opioid Settlement Funds).
On motion by Commissioner Wible, the board retroactively approved a Momentive Software, Inc. renewal order for the Fiscal Department at an annual price of $1,660.48. The board also approved and executed a Sheriff's Department request for an inmate at the Bedford County Correctional Facility to receive physician services.
The commissioners approved an appointment letter for Thomas Peppernick to the Fulton County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors for a term to expire Dec. 31, 2027, and reappointed Margie McGuire (Contractor), Paula Shives (Member-at-Large), Thomas Morton (Elected Official) and Daniel Schriever (Member-at-Large) to two-year terms on the Fulton County Agricultural Land Preservation Board, expiring Dec. 31, 2027. The board also approved the 2026 Commissioners' Meeting dates to be advertised publicly.
All recorded motions were approved by unanimous voice vote. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn at 11:45 a.m.
