The construction team also described labor-hour tracking and other project metrics and added a community element: they commissioned local artist Whitney Allen of Wyler West Designs to assemble a shadow-box piece using reclaimed job-site materials. Barrett said the artist used buckets and tubs of recovered debris as inspiration to create the commissioned artwork and the team displayed the piece for the board.
The presentation was largely informational; the board thanked the team and allowed parents and students present to take photos before moving on to the remainder of the agenda.
