The representative said site photos taken last week show framing and mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough‑in in place for the cafeteria, functional skills and sensory rooms, and the esports/journalism spaces. The presentation highlighted the storm shelter, which the presenter described as among the largest in any secondary school in the state, and the beginning of exterior masonry and EIFS work. "Our project is about 40% complete," the Timberlake representative said, adding that roofing and interior sheetrock work are slated for early summer.
Board members asked about near‑term milestones. When asked when the building would be "dried in" so interior work could proceed, the Timberlake representative said the structure should be sealed in April. Board members praised the contractor for coordinating deliveries and site access with school operations and for minimizing disruptions to students.
The board did not take any action during the presentation; the update was presented for information and to give the public a status report on the capital project. The board will receive further updates as construction progresses.
