The board also approved purchase and installation of shade structures at Greenleaf, Peach Creek, Piney Woods and Timber Lakes elementaries for $185,275 via BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative Contract 781-25. Additionally, the board ratified a purchase of network equipment for the new Greenleaf Elementary campus from United Data Technologies, Inc. for $260,060 through the Department of Information Resources (DIR) Cooperative Contract #DIR-CPO-5409-TX.
Other consent items approved included Board meeting minutes, financials, the tax and investment reports, accounts payable, and receipt of Campus Targeted Improvement Plans for Greenleaf, Peach Creek, Piney Woods, Timber Lake elementaries and Splendora Junior High. The minutes record the consent motion as carried unanimously by the six trustees present.
