Warm Springs trail moves to design phase after city, county and UDOT select engineer

The committee received an update that the Warm Springs trail project has moved toward design following interagency coordination.
Chair reported that the city and county met with UDOT and that an engineering contract is being awarded to RB and G (referred to in the meeting as RBNG) to produce the design. "Probably gonna take a couple weeks for them to actually get a contract and then start doing the design," the Chair said, and added that the proposed schedule is to complete design this year and build the trail next year.
Committee members said they'd continue to monitor the schedule and coordinate with the contractor and UDOT as the project moves from procurement into design. No formal committee action was required at the meeting.
