No members of the public spoke in opposition at the council hearing.
Council members voiced general support and discussed how NMU-1 zoning can provide a range of housing types and help address nonconforming uses in older neighborhoods. A motion to approve was moved and seconded and the chair called for the ayes; the council signaled support and the measure was approved.
