County appoints Thomas Weaver to Board of Health and proclaims Community Action Month

The commission on May 7 adopted a resolution filling a vacancy on the Chattahoochee County Board of Health by appointing Thomas Weaver to a term beginning May 7, 2024 and expiring Dec. 31, 2026. The resolution was recorded as unanimously approved.
At the May meetings the board also approved a proclamation recognizing May 2024 as Community Action Month in honor of Enrichment Services Program, Inc.’s 60th anniversary and accepted multiple new fee schedules for county services and the Enrichment Service Center; the minutes record unanimous votes for those items.
These administrative actions were presented as routine matters in the consent/agenda portion of the May meetings and will be reflected in official county records and appointment rosters.
