The public hearing portion on the 2026 tentative budget also produced no public comment. Immediately following the budget vote, the Commission adjourned the regular meeting at 1:52 p.m. and then convened a separate public hearing at 1:52 p.m. on a proposed market adjustment increase for county employees and elected officials in the 2026 budget; that hearing likewise recorded no public comment and closed at 1:53 p.m.
