Deputy Clerk/Auditor Barbara Crowther told the Commission that some parcels listed as redeemed had all taxes, penalties and interest paid before the sale and that remaining parcels had been sold, with staff working with PublicSurplus.com to complete transfers. Commissioner Greg Jensen moved to ratify the tax sale results and to authorize Clerk/Auditor Wall to complete the deeds; Commissioner Ralph Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
The action formalizes the county’s record of the sale and directs administrative staff to finish conveyance paperwork. The minutes do not list parcel identifiers or sale amounts in full; Crowther reported she had provided the Commission with a listing of parcels and sale amounts during the meeting. The County’s next administrative steps are completing deed preparation and finalizing transfers with the auction vendor, PublicSurplus.com.
The Commission took no separate legal or policy action beyond ratifying the sale and authorizing staff to complete transactional documents.
