The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority voted May 27 to accept routine financial reports and disbursements and heard brief updates on two capital projects.
The authority accepted the cash summary and accounts receivable as of May 23, 2025, following a motion by a committee member and a second by the chair. The motion carried by voice vote.
Board members then approved an open invoice register dated May 21, 2025, for a single vendor in the amount of $5,615 after clarifying the charge related to the water treatment plant project. The authority approved the open invoice by voice vote.
The authority also accepted the disbursement summary for May 15–21, 2025, in the amount of $197,500.81. Members asked whether a vendor listed (Bridge Valley Electric) was charging for the clinic project or the water treatment plant; participants clarified the charge was for setup work tied to the water treatment plant construction. The disbursement listing was approved by voice vote.
The chair announced an upcoming bond closing but participants offered different dates during the meeting (spoken possibilities included June 24, June 20 and June 4); the final bond-closing date was not confirmed and requires verification with staff. The chair also noted a CIB meeting scheduled for June 5.
Members briefly reviewed project status: the water treatment plant project is ongoing, and preliminary work to begin the new clinic building is under way, including securing contractors’ schedules. No purchase requests were finalized; members asked staff to verify an item with the finance clerk before closing out that entry.
The chair adjourned the meeting by acclamation at 9:27 a.m.
