Fulton County adopts 2026 budget, approves tax levy with no tax increase

Fiscal Administrator Sue Reed told the commissioners that there had been no changes to the proposed budget since it was publicly advertised. After a presentation by CFO Mike Lamb, Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to adopt the proposed 2026 budget "as presented"; the motion passed unanimously.
The board handled other routine fiscal business during the meeting, including approval of accounts payable and the prior meeting minutes. The commissioners indicated the budget will govern county spending for fiscal year 2026; the meeting record does not specify the total dollar value of the adopted budget.
