Fulton County commissioners on Feb. 10 approved routine business items including meeting minutes, retirement board minutes and accounts payable, and they authorized several departmental requests during a meeting at the Commissioners' Office.
Approvals recorded in the minutes include: the Feb. 3, 2026 commissioners' minutes and the Jan. 27, 2026 retirement board minutes (moved by Commissioner Steven L. Wible), and accounts payable dated Feb. 3, 2026 totaling $91,872.06. The minutes list a Fund 100 General Fund amount of $75,212.91 and smaller sums across multiple special funds.
Other departmental approvals included a travel request for Services for Children Director Christine McQuade to attend the Chief Justice Max Baer’s Children's Roundtable Summit, April 22–24, 2026 in Hershey, Pa.; a Citgo tire quote of $640 for four tires for a Services for Children vehicle to pass inspection; and a Certification Statement for the fourth quarter of 2025 submitted by Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott. All motions passed with the record stating "All in favor."
During the meeting McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Chief Pete Lynch, Fulton County resident Jim Pittman and EMA/911 Director Brian Barton presented a Chief 360 Mobile Fire & EMS demonstration for commissioners; the minutes record delivery of the demonstration but no procurement or purchase action.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:20 a.m. on a motion by Commissioner Wible.
