Fulton County commissioners approve $335,634.88 in payables, set payroll and authorize routine county actions

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on March 3 approved accounts payable totaling $335,634.88 and payroll of $132,711.81, along with several routine administrative measures needed to keep county operations running.
The board, whose members present were Commissioner Randy H. Bunch (chair), Commissioner Steven L. Wible (vice chair) and Commissioner Hervey P. Hann, voted unanimously to approve the accounts payable motion moved by Commissioner Hann and to approve payroll on a separate motion. The approved payables included a General Fund disbursement of $291,026.05 and line items for Liquid Fuels, 911, Hazmat, Domestic Incentive, Medical Assistance Transportation, Debt Service and pass-through funds.
Commissioners also approved a lease from DBB for a printer for Magisterial District Judge Heming's office with a total contract price of $3,647.00 and authorized payment of a Plan Asset Invoice from Conrad Siegel in the amount of $3,844.25 to be paid from plan assets. The board authorized a CDBG "Delegation of Signing Authority" for HR Administrator Mary Huston and Commissioners Wible and Bunch to execute invoices to SEDA COG and accepted the February 2026 Pension Fund Report as presented by HR Administrator Mary Huston.
The board approved a burial expense application for veteran Gary Allen Myers, who served in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Chief Probation Officer Dan Miller's travel request to attend the Annual CJAB Conference on April 20–22, 2026 was authorized. Commissioners heard an audit review from County Auditors Penny Kipp, Rebecca Kendall and Holly Falkosky; no formal votes were recorded from that review beyond entering and exiting the meeting.
Human resources actions included the board's unanimous vote to hire Laurel Griest as Office Deputy I for the Prothonotary's Office effective March 4, 2026; a brief Salary Board was held to set her salary. Commissioners also conducted three executive sessions during the meeting for personnel matters (10:15–10:29 a.m.; 10:48–11:45 a.m.; 12:25–12:37 p.m.).
The meeting concluded with a building update from Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville on Phase II renovations for the county's recently purchased building on Lincoln Way West in McConnellsburg. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to adjourn at 1:03 p.m.; the motion carried.
