Dickinson Center representatives in attendance described the project as a way to streamline services and increase convenience for clients who currently travel for separate appointments. The application was considered under the county’s ACT 13 funding process, the program the county administers for distributing impact and legacy dollars tied to local energy development.
The board also noted the county’s overall ACT 13 allotment for fiscal year 2024–2025 is $323,072.24, with $298,072.24 allocated for impact fees and $25,000 for the Marcellus Legacy fund, which supports environmental and recreation initiatives; commissioners said they will review specific spending at the next meeting.
