The Board of Awards on Feb. 11 authorized a contract amendment to the city's existing CivicPlus website system to add AudioEye and DocAccess accessibility solutions.
Purchasing staff reported prorated and annual costs in the record: AudioEye prorated at $250 with an annual renewal cost listed at $2,500, and DocAccess prorated at $5,429.24 with an annual renewal of $16,243. Staff said the additions are intended to improve website and document accessibility and help the city meet federal accessibility guidelines. A presenter noted CivicPlus already was making some changes but that full implementation of the main site could take roughly eight months; the DocAccess module was identified as central to bringing legacy PDFs into compliance.
A motion to award the contract amendment was made, seconded and approved unanimously.
