Deputy Corporation Counsel Robin Edwards moved that the board go into executive session on the grounds that the matter involved security strategy; the motion was seconded and carried.
Edwards stated that those present in executive session would include the office of corporation counsel, the finance department, the mayor's office and members of the board, and she invited the purchasing agent, Mr. Volpe, to attend. The board went into executive session at 10:07 a.m. and returned to the public record at 10:15 a.m.
After returning, a member moved to proceed as discussed in executive session; the motion was seconded, members announced votes in favor and the chair declared the motion carried.
