Adair County signs Harrison Bridge contract, approves right-of-way payments and schedules road-vacation hearing

Separately, the board adopted Resolution No. 2026-17 to set a public hearing on a proposed vacation of a portion of 115th Street (established April 3, 1877) in Section 9, T-77N, R-30W; the hearing is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in the Board Room of the Adair County Courthouse, Greenfield, in accordance with Iowa Code Chapter 306.
Engineer Kauffman also briefed the board on maintenance activities, discussed rock prices, and said staff are updating projects for the urban renewal plan. The minutes record that Kauffman left the meeting at 9:18 a.m.
